What’s a typical day as Tube Expander? You’ll be:
  • Setting up and operating tube expanding machines to expand copper tubes into coil fin packs per production orders
  • Loading finned coil assemblies, aligning tubes, and adjusting machine settings for optimal expansion
  • Inspecting coils before and after expansion for proper fit and quality
  • Monitoring machine operation for issues and performing basic maintenance
  • Recording production counts, cycle times, and scrap data accurately
  • Assisting with tooling changes, setups, and collaborating with assembly and testing teams
  • Following strict safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, coil drawings, and work instructions (required)
  • Own safety footwear (steel/composite toe required)
  • Possess mechanical aptitude for operating and adjusting machinery
