Tube operators work in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, and automotive. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are key aspects of this role.

Tube welders are typically responsible for joining sections of pipe or tubing, often used in industrial systems such as HVAC, plumbing, or petrochemical applications. Their daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, and inspecting finished welds for quality and safety standards. Collaboration with other tradespeople, such as pipefitters and engineers, is common to ensure systems are built accurately and efficiently.
