Job description

1st Shift

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm (subject to change and overtime if needed)

What Will You Do?

As a Truck Driver you will load, unload, and delivers materials to customers or internally in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials.

  • Loads and secures vehicles for delivery.
  • Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly.
  • Performs all required pre and post trip inspections.
  • Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
  • Delivers goods to clients or internal warehouses.
  • Interacts with the customer in a professional manner.
  • Collects required signatures for payment, proof of delivery, and gives a receipt to customer.
  • Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official.
  • Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle.
  • Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.
  • Must get all pertinent information if involved in an accident and inform appropriate company official.
  • Unloads vehicle after completing delivery runs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

What Do You Need?

  • Must have current valid Class A CDL License.
  • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with delivery practices and handling methods.
  • Ability to efficiently back trailer into tight dock spaces.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Proficient on Microsoft Outlook, Google Chrome, and other common programs.
