This job is a member of the Airport Hubs & Gateway Team within the Customer Experience Division

  • Plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with airport security, access control, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as a key point of contact for employees, new hires, transfers, MDAD, CBP, and internal business partners.
  • Responsible for one or more of the following core functions:
    • SIDA badging administration and coordination
    • Compliance with MDAD, TSA, and CBP requirements
    • New hire and transfer onboarding support
    • Audit preparation and compliance tracking
    • Key inventory management and accountability
    • Access control administration and recordkeeping
What you'll do
  • Coordinate all aspects of the SIDA badging process for new hires, transfers, and employees requiring badge renewals or updates.
  • Ensure compliance with MDAD, TSA, CBP, and company security policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between employees and badging authorities to resolve badge-related issues and access concerns.
  • Schedule and track fingerprinting, security threat assessments, badging appointments, and recurrent training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate badging records, access permissions, and employee compliance documentation
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires and transfers, including badge issuance, system access, locker assignments, uniforms, training coordination, and other required resources.
  • Monitor badge deactivations, expirations, and proactively coordinate renewals to ensure uninterrupted operational access.
  • Conduct periodic badge, key, and access audits to maintain compliance and security accountability.
  • Manage key inventory, issuance, returns, and audit documentation.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal audits and inspections conducted by MDAD, CBP, TSA, and company leadership.
  • Investigate and resolve badge discrepancies, access issues, and compliance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential employee information in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate escort privileges and temporary access requests.
  • Provides support for station events, employee engagement initiatives, special projects, and administrative functions as needed.
  • Partner with Security, HR, Training, and Operations teams to ensure employee readiness and compliance.
  • Support regulatory inspections and respond to security-related inquiries from airport authorities.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency
  • Previous office/clerical experience

  • Knowledge of MS Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and corporate structure
  • Ability to prioritize work, be detail-oriented and meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to be self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to grasp concepts and functionality of specific software and programs
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the Organization            
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Approachable and professional demeanor
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work varied hours and holidays (as business needs may vary)
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, (if applicable)
  • Ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
