Job description

In our Deposit Services Processor role, you'll learn skills that will benefit you throughout your Heartland career while encouraging you to dream big. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Performs daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and verification of selected reports 
  • Compiles research and tracking of member's requests and issues (record, track, research, and work with Deposit Services Supervisor or other designated departments) 
  • Coordinates with Retail staff in regard to management of daily maintenance, member correspondence and member research and to resolve outstanding issues for department work (tracking quality control issues) 
  • Processes and responds to subpoena, levy and garnishment requests from multiple agencies 
  • Provides employees support for POA, Trust and fiduciary accounts and questions 
  • Provides employee support for consumer, business, HSA, IRA, and Decedent accounts 
  • Responds to asset verifications received from Social Security and Medicaid. 
  • Conducts daily review and validation of dormant member transactions 
  • Performs maintenance and insider relationship tracking on employee accounts 

What you will need: 

  • 1-2 years of working in a financial institution, Working with new account origination and member service 
  • Understanding compliance in relation to deposit account servicing to include BSA and Truth in Savings 
  • Communication skills, Organizational and analytical skills, Ability to meet deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to multitask
