We are seeking a detail-oriented Trades Operations Assistant to support the daily coordination of field service operations. This role serves as a key connection between customers, field technicians, and internal teams to help ensure projects and service appointments are organized, communicated, and completed efficiently.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for helping both customers and team members succeed. This position is based in our Lawrenceville office and is not eligible for remote work. 


 Job Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate daily service schedules and assist with assigning work orders to field personnel.
  • Review incoming customer requests and help organize appointments according to service needs, technician availability, and geographic efficiency.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing updates and ensuring a positive service experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments, customer communications, and operational activities.
  • Monitor job progress throughout the day and communicate necessary adjustments to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with workload balancing and scheduling optimization to support operational efficiency.
  • Support onboarding and coaching efforts for new team members within the operations department.
  • Collaborate with field technicians, office staff, and leadership to improve workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and proactively address issues before they impact customers or operations.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through professionalism, accountability, and a service-first mindset

Requirements

  • Demonstrated history of dependability, professionalism, and consistent attendance.

 Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience supporting operations, scheduling, administrative coordination, or customer service functions.
  • Prior experience in residential trades, home services, construction, maintenance, or related industries is a plus.
  • Comfortable using computers, business phone systems, and office software in a professional environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan, CRM platforms, scheduling software, or field-service management systems is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction and team success.
