Since 1946, Pugh & Pugh Attorneys at Law has helped individuals, families, businesses, and communities navigate complex legal matters. Thanks to the trust of our clients, our firm has grown exponentially, and Pugh & Pugh is now seeking to add another highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal. The ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities with accuracy while staying organized, professional, and levelheaded. They must be highly motivated to serve our clients with excellent customer service and committed to supporting our attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.
Paralegal responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Take direction from and provide administrative support to assigned attorney, including maintaining attorney's calendar and files.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, deeds, wills, trusts, and corporate filings.
  • Perform legal research and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to facilitate legal cases over the life cycle of the case.
  • Oversee and maintain organized case files, legal correspondence, and records in digital and physical formats.

Position Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a related field, or paralegal certification, or 3-5 years of related experience required.
  • Experience in real estate law, probate, and estate planning preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research databases, and case management software.
