They represent Trustees, Beneficiaries, Heirs, Conservators/Guardians, Creditors, and Surviving Spouses.
We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Attorney with experience in probate, trust, and estate litigation to join our team in Brentwood, Los Angeles California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in California probate law, trust administration, and estate disputes, with a proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.


Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Handle a diverse caseload of probate, trust, and estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and related issues.

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

  • Represent clients in court appearances, mediation, and settlement negotiations.

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant California laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective case management.

  • Participate in firm meetings, continuing legal education (CLE) programs, and other professional development activities.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in trust and estate disputes in California.

  • Strong knowledge of California probate law, trust administration, and estate planning.

  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills, paired with a strategic, detail-oriented approach to litigation.

  • Ability to meet an annual goal of 1,800 quality billable hours.

  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary $130,000 - $230,000

  • Plus, a yearly bonus based on firm/employee performance.
