Job description

Summary Removes and stacks trusses coming off the production line. Stacks trusses in bundles and bands them according to spans and lengths. Fast-paced environment while coordinating and working with others to complete truss packages for delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Other duties may be assigned. Removes bundled truss packages to carts or staging area.
  • Moves and stacks trusses to be in safe working locations where forklifts have access to move.
  • May gather small lumber pieces and save them in designated area for other uses.
  • Moves carts from component saw area to lumber staging area.
  • Works in conjunction with the jig leads and production foreman to ensure efficient production levels.
  • Keeps area organized and clean.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
