Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Riverside, CA

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $32.00/hour

Job Type: Full-Time


We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability of industrial production and facility equipment. This position will be responsible for rebuilding, overhauling, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of automated industrial systems and equipment.


The Maintenance Mechanic will support the assigned shift and must be flexible to work additional or adjusted hours based on business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills and experience working with automated manufacturing equipment.


  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on industrial production and facility-related equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, prints, and electrical diagrams to diagnose equipment issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on industrial production and building-related equipment.
  • Document repairs, preventive maintenance activities, work orders, and related maintenance tasks.
  • Rebuild, overhaul, repair, align, and make precision adjustments to automated CNC machine tools.
  • Perform general maintenance work orders and support equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Follow proper procedures for hazardous waste disposal after completing required training.
  • Work directly with outside contractors and provide support during maintenance activities.
  • Maintain department housekeeping and 5S standards to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Develop procedures and technical documentation for new equipment installations and unique maintenance situations.
  • Apply hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues.
  • Work with equipment operators to determine the nature and extent of mechanical problems and failures.
  • Mentor and train employees with less experience or technical knowledge.
  • Prioritize multiple maintenance projects and respond appropriately to urgent equipment issues.
  • Follow all safety regulations, procedures, and company guidelines.


Required Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial automated systems maintenance, metal fabrication equipment maintenance, or equipment repair and maintenance.


OR


  • 2-year technical school degree from an accredited institution in a related trade, such as:
  • Industrial Maintenance
  • Automated Industrial Systems
  • Industrial Pneumatic/Electronic Controls
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing

  • Welding
  • Fluid Power
  • Mechanics
  • 5+ years of related industrial maintenance experience with a qualifying technical degree.
  • Ability to successfully complete formal training on automated equipment and facility-related tools, including CNC lathes and mills, when required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
