The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Arlington, Virginia, where they will engage with a variety of patient demographics and participate in an interdisciplinary approach to care. • Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional limitations and disabilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective continuity of patient care and support.
• Maintain excellent communication with patients, adapting your interactions to suit diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds while adhering to customer service standards.
• Implement assigned treatment plans, re-evaluating patient progress and adjusting approaches as necessary.
• Prepare detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient interactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage actively in departmental leadership activities, such as community outreach programs, performance improvement initiatives, marketing efforts, and facilitating the development of clinical programs.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, promoting a cohesive team spirit.
• Foster collaborative relationships within the interdisciplinary treatment team to optimize patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through educational workshops, in-service training, and self-directed learning to enhance clinical skills and knowledge base.
• Provide regular updates to physicians about patient status, treatment adjustments, and discharge planning.

The Charlotte facility primarily serves a diverse array of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. By forging strong connections with patients, you will help them navigate their rehabilitation journeys, improving their overall well-being and restoring their functional abilities. Each treatment plan is designed not just to address physical ailments but also to empower patients through education and active participation in their recovery process.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other related technologies is preferred.

• Experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly with orthopedic patients, is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated participation in community outreach or professional development initiatives.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical environment is advantageous.
