Job description

Salary: $27 to $40 per hour

We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Service Electrician to
join our team of skilled electricians. As a Residential Service Electrician, you'll play a
crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our customers' electrical systems.
This is a hands-on role that requires a combination of technical expertise,
problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach.


Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical
problems in residential settings, including faulty wiring, malfunctioning outlets,
and lighting issues.

Installations and Upgrades: Install and upgrade electrical systems, including
panels, fixtures, and appliances, ensuring compliance with local codes and
regulations.
Maintenance and Inspections: Perform routine maintenance and inspections of
electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure optimal performance.
Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous
manner, explaining technical concepts in clear and understandable terms.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the
safety of yourself, your colleagues, and our customers.
Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical codes,
technologies, and industry best practices through ongoing training and education.


Qualifications:
Journeyman Electrician License: Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician
License in the state of Virginia.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Residential Service
Electrician preferred, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical theory, wiring methods, and the use of
electrical tools and equipment.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze electrical problems, identify root
causes, and implement effective solutions.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in
