Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and various modalities to meet specific patient goals.

  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and the rehabilitation process to empower them in their journey toward recovery.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to review patientsโ€™ progress, share insights, and contribute to creating a positive clinic culture focused on learning and patient success.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your interactions will focus on understanding each patient's unique challenges and motivating them throughout their rehabilitation process to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A current or eligible Nevada physical therapy license.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in orthopedic and/or sports rehabilitation is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills paired with effective time management abilities.
  • An Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is highly desirable, or a willingness to pursue this certification.
  • Experience with manual therapy or dry needling techniques will be considered an asset.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, ideally within an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards specific to physical therapy.
  • A track record of successful patient outcomes in the realm of rehabilitation and injury management.

The compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
