Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at True North Medical Institute, located in Pahrump, Nevada. This full-time position requires at least two years of experience and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting. Work Environment

Located in the picturesque town of Pahrump, Nevada, our outpatient clinic cultivates a supportive and energetic atmosphere. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life scenario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and individual patient needs.
  • Apply a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and advanced modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress rigorously, modifying treatment as necessary, and effectively communicate outcomes to patients and their families.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, self-care strategies, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Foster a positive clinic culture by participating in team meetings, sharing insights, and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with a diverse population, including athletes, active adults, and older adults, emphasizing tailored rehabilitation strategies to maximize recovery and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • A current or eligible Physical Therapy (PT) license in Nevada.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to manage time effectively.
  • Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is preferred; interest in pursuing OCS certification is also valued.
Preferred Experience
  • Two or more years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques and modalities, such as dry needling.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through continuing education courses or relevant certifications.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
