POSITION SUMMARY

The Change & Adoption Lead is responsible for driving successful adoption of enterprise initiatives by preparing, equipping, and supporting employees through organizational change. This role partners closely with IT, PMO, business leaders, and Learning & Development to ensure changes are understood, embraced, and sustained. The Change & Adoption Lead plays a critical role in maximizing return on investment (ROI) for transformation initiatives—including ERP, data, and process improvements—by increasing adoption, minimizing resistance, and accelerating time to value.

LOCATION

Onsite in Fort Wayne, IN

PTR is prioritizing candidates located in or willing to relocate to the Fort Wayne, IN market. However, exceptional remote candidates whose experience strongly aligns with the requirements of the role may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

COMPENSATION

This position offers a competitive compensation package, benchmarked to regional market standards. It consists of a base salary plus the opportunity for quarterly profit sharing after one year of employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Change Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies aligned with enterprise initiatives
  • Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis
  • Define success metrics (adoption, usage, readiness, and business outcomes)
  • Align change plans with project timelines, PMO governance frameworks, and project delivery standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Identify and actively manage key stakeholders across business functions
  • Develop and execute targeted communication plans to drive awareness and understanding
  • Partner with leadership to reinforce messaging and promote change sponsorship
  • Establish feedback loops to monitor sentiment and address resistance

Training & Enablement

  • Partner with Learning & Development to design role-based training strategies
  • Support development of training materials, job aids, and learning pathways
  • Coordinate and execute end-user training plans (including train-the-trainer models)
  • Ensure readiness for go-live and post-implementation support

Adoption & Readiness

  • Develop adoption frameworks to measure and track user engagement
  • Monitor and report on adoption metrics, readiness scores, and behavioral change
  • Identify risks to adoption and implement mitigation strategies
  • Lead business readiness activities including role mapping and process alignment

Business Integration & Change Network

  • Establish and enable a network of business change champions / super users
  • Partner with functional leaders to embed change within operational workflows
  • Support alignment of "as-is" and "to-be" business processes and roles

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain documentation, playbooks, and repeatable change frameworks
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve change practices
  • Support benefits realization by linking adoption to business outcomes

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Organizational Development, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or transformation programs
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives (ERP, systems, or process change)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Experience developing and executing training and communication strategies
  • Experience working within a PMO or enterprise transformation environment
  • Familiarity with structured change management methodologies
  • Experience with learning platforms, communications tools, or adoption analytics
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to measure and report on outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for identifying solutions to complex business problems.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and value-driven project outcomes.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment and respond to shifting priorities.
