Job description

Field Craftsman - TruBlue Home Service Ally
The person people trust to care for their home
Some people are wired to fix things.
Not just because they're good with tools-but because they genuinely enjoy helping people. They take pride in doing quality work. They show up when they say they will. They leave every home a little better than they found it.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
At TruBlue of Licking County, we believe home maintenance is about more than repairs. It's about earning trust, creating peace of mind, and helping people continue living safely and comfortably in the place they love most.
Whether you're helping a senior remain independent, installing safety upgrades for a family, or tackling a list of repairs for a busy homeowner, your work truly matters.
Why You'll Love Working Here
We're building something different.
Our customers don't simply hire a handyman-they invite someone they trust into their home. That's why we hire professionals who care as much about people as they do about craftsmanship.
When you join TruBlue of Licking County, you can expect:
  • Steady, year-round work
  • Consistent hours with flexible scheduling
  • Strong office support so you can focus on your craft
  • Company vehicle and equipment (where applicable)
  • A team built on respect, integrity, and professionalism
  • Meaningful work that improves people's lives every day

What You'll Be Doing
  • General home repairs and maintenance
  • Carpentry and trim work
  • Drywall repair and painting
  • Flooring repairs and installation
  • Basic plumbing and electrical work
  • Home safety and accessibility modifications
  • Preventative maintenance services
  • Building lasting relationships with customers through dependable, professional service

Most importantly, you'll represent TruBlue of Licking County as someone our customers can count on-someone who treats every home with care and every customer with respect.
You'll Probably Enjoy This Job If...
  • You genuinely enjoy solving problems.
  • You take pride in quality workmanship.
  • You believe doing the job right matters.
  • You're dependable and keep your word.
  • You enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive team.
  • You naturally treat customers with patience and respect.
  • You like leaving every project better than you found it.

Experience That Helps
We're looking for someone with solid experience, though no one checks every box.
Ideally, you'll have:
  • Five or more years of paid handyman or home repair experience
  • Skills in carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English

Our Values
Empathetic
We listen first, treat people with dignity, and understand that every customer has unique needs.
Trustworthy
Customers should feel completely comfortable welcoming us into their home.
Reliable
We show up, follow through, communicate clearly, and stand behind our work.
Ready to Join the Team?
We're not simply looking for another handyman.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys helping people, and wants to be part of a company that's raising the standard for home services.
If you're ready to build a career where your skills make a real difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
