As we continue to grow our environmental practice across Connecticut, we're looking for a Senior Environmental Professional | Assistant Project Manager to join our talented Environmental team in Connecticut.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced environmental professional who is ready to take the next step into project leadership while continuing to build strong technical expertise. You'll work alongside seasoned project managers, support complex environmental projects, mentor junior staff, and help deliver solutions for a wide range of public and private sector clients.
  • Support project managers and provide technical leadership on a variety of environmental projects including:ย 
    • ย Site investigationsย 
    • ย Environmental remediationย 
    • ย Brownfield redevelopmentย 
    • ย Environmental permitting and complianceย 
  • ย Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and oversight of field staff and subcontractorsย 
  • ย Prepare high-quality technical reports, regulatory documentation, and client deliverables in accordance with Connecticut environmental regulations and company standardsย 
  • ย Collaborate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to support successful project outcomesย 
  • ย Contribute to proposal development, client engagement, and broader business development effortsย 
  • ย Mentor and guide early-career technical staff while helping build team capabilities and project delivery efficiencyย 
  • ย Support growing project workloads for a diverse client base including utility, industrial, commercial, and development clientsย 
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related fieldย 
  • 6+ years of environmental consulting or related experienceย 
  • Strong understanding of Connecticut environmental regulations and remediation programsย 
  • Ability and desire to obtain Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) certification within 2-3 yearsย 
  • Experience supporting or managing environmental investigation and remediation projectsย 
  • Strong technical writing and communication skillsย 
  • Desire to grow into project management, client management, and leadership responsibilitiesย 
  • Remediation design experience is a plusย
