Advanced Security Operator (ASO) Team Member

Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Rate: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time Employee (FTE)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Compensation
  • Starting pay: $48.00 per hour
  • Overtime in accordance with Washington State law
  • Time-and-a-half pay for company-approved holidays

Position Summary
TRIDENT is hiring an Advanced Security Operator (ASO) Team Member to strengthen safety and security operations while maintaining a professional, approachable presence for employees and authorized visitors at corporate campuses across Seattle, WA.
We are looking for driven professionals who bring strong customer service skills, sound decision-making, and the capability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and sustain a safe, secure environment across all assigned client campuses
  • Protect the well-being, physical safety, and security of assigned individuals, facilities, and assets
  • Uphold a consistent and visible security presence to deter unauthorized or disruptive behavior
  • Observe campus activity and identify any unusual or suspicious conduct
  • Respond to on-site incidents and emergencies in a professional and controlled manner
  • Operate with autonomy while consistently delivering excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain a professional, welcoming demeanor when interacting with employees and visitors
  • Execute scheduled foot patrols across all assigned campus areas on a regular basis
  • Communicate clearly with campus leadership and security management about incidents or areas of concern
  • Report all security-related incidents directly to the ASO Team Leader in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with campus operations staff under the direction of the ASO Team Leader
  • Stay alert and vigilant at all times, proactively identifying and escalating security concerns
  • Provide escort services for employees or visitors as requested or required
  • Carry out any other assigned duties as directed

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of four (4) years of honorable military service or equivalent law enforcement or professional security experience

Required Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid Washington State Security Guard Card (must be maintained)
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License (must be maintained)
  • Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) certification preferred
  • Honorable military discharge (DD-214 required, if applicable)

Skills and Abilities:
  • Situational Awareness: Strong situational awareness and observation skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Stress Tolerance: Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under stress

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move quickly and travel distances exceeding two (2) miles on foot
  • Ability to work across varying campus environments and terrain
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as operationally required
  • Ability to operate company or client vehicles between campus sites
  • Ability to stand and remain on duty for a minimum of eight (8) hours

Reporting Structure and Classification:
The ASO Team Member is an hourly, non-exempt position that normally reports directly to an ASO Team Leader for day-to-day tasking, and to the Trident Special Projects Operations Manager for administrative support. Operational reporting structure for day-to-day tasking and/or administrative reporting structure may be subject to change depending on the nature of the assignment.
For client embedded positions: The ASO Team Member is an hourly, non-exempt position that reports to client leadership and management for day-to-day tasking, and to the Trident Special Projects Operations Manager for administrative support.
