Rate: $70/hr on W2

Job Summary – Manager, IT - Unified Communications (Microsoft Teams & AV Conferencing)

  • Manage enterprise Microsoft Teams environment, including Teams Meetings, Teams Voice, policies, integrations, and collaboration services.
  • Lead a team responsible for Unified Communications (UC) and Audio-Video (AV) support, including L1/L2/L3 engineers.
  • Oversee enterprise conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Teams Rooms/AV conference room technologies.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, troubleshooting, and executive-level support for critical meetings and conferencing services.
  • Manage conference room AV infrastructure, including hardware, codecs, cameras, microphones, displays, and room control systems (Poly preferred).
  • Partner with IT, Security, Facilities, and vendors to deploy, maintain, and improve hybrid workplace collaboration solutions.
  • Own vendor management, licensing, contracts, documentation, standards, and best practices for collaboration platforms.
  • Develop strategic roadmap, adoption plans, and continuous improvements for Teams and enterprise collaboration technologies.
  • Monitor service metrics, user experience, and operational performance; provide reports and recommendations to IT leadership.
  • Requires 8+ years of Unified Communications/AV experience with strong hands-on Microsoft Teams expertise and prior people management experience.
  • Hybrid workplace collaboration solutions
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, QoS, AV codecs)
