Job description

OB-GYN Group Practice hiring for our Boca Raton office.

The Telephone Triage Representative serves as an important link between our patients and providers by addressing patient concerns, documenting clinical information, and ensuring timely communication regarding medical needs.

This position requires excellent communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient service.

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 8:30am - 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch!

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming patient calls and electronic messages in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Documents patient concerns accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
  • Routes messages to providers appropriately based on urgency and established office protocols
  • Communicates provider recommendations, test results, and follow-up instructions to patients
  • Assists patients with prescription refill requests and pharmacy-related inquiries
  • Identifies urgent concerns and escalates appropriately
  • Maintains timely follow-up on open patient messages and tasks
  • Protects patient confidentiality and maintains HIPAA compliance at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 1 full year of direct experience in telephone triage, medical assisting, nursing, or a similar clinical healthcare role
  • OB-GYN experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Strong computer and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with patients, providers, pharmacies, and outside healthcare facilities
  • EXPERIENCE WITH GREENWAY PRIMESUITE IS A PLUS!
