Job description

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join the Fox Valley Family Medicine (Mosaic) Residency located in Appleton, WI. The Assistant Professor and clinical faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Medicine will provide service to both inpatient and outpatient services and participate in obstetrical and inpatient call. This is a teaching position and will involve teaching and advising residents and medical students.
Position Highlights:
  • Provide full scope of family medicine care to both inpatients & outpatients
  • Precept residents on both inpatient & outpatient services
  • Provide call & rounding
  • Additional teaching responsibilities with residents and medical students
  • Engage in scholarly activities as per ACGME requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.

Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine

  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
