Job description

Tustana Animal Hospital is looking to add a great Associate Veterinarian to our amazing team of professionals.

Our Values:
We are a collaborative, welcoming team that truly values work-life balance, exceptional patient care, and outstanding client communication. We foster a supportive environment where every team member is respected and encouraged to grow professionally while delivering the highest quality medicine.

Our Facility:
Located in the heart of Orange County, our recently remodeled hospital features four exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, digital radiology, ultrasound, dentistry, and boarding for both cats and dogs. We are a paperless practice serving a 100% small animal caseload, averaging just 10–15 appointments per doctor each day with 30-minute appointment times. Our team also takes pride in offering advanced surgical procedures and supporting local rescue organizations, including Lab Rescue, Shar-Pei Rescue, and Southpaws.

Our Schedule:
Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with a full-time schedule of four 10-hour shifts (4/10s), including one dedicated surgery day each week. There are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on practicing great medicine while maintaining a balanced lifestyle. You'll also be supported by a 1.5 technician-to-doctor ratio and an experienced RVT on staff.

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive ProSal compensation package with no negative accrual, a salary range of $120,000–$150,000 for a 40-hour work week (4/10s), plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus (DOE). Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), generous CE allowance, paid vacation, professional dues, liability coverage, relocation assistance, flexible spending account (FSA), employee discounts, a competitive referral program, and paid parental leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents. We are committed to investing in your professional growth while supporting your overall well-being.

Our Home:
Practice in beautiful Tustin, California, in the heart of Orange County. Enjoy being just minutes from Southern California's beautiful beaches, Disneyland, outstanding restaurants, shopping, and endless outdoor recreation. Whether you're looking for coastal living, vibrant entertainment, or a family-friendly community, Orange County offers an exceptional quality of life.

Job Requirements:
• Loyal and passionate about patient care and client communication.
• Excellent diagnostic abilities with outstanding communication skills.
• Dedicated, collaborative, emotionally intelligent, and takes pride in delivering exceptional medicine.
• Committed to continuous growth and enthusiastic about advancing the veterinary profession.
