Job description

Join a team that turns clinical data into clear insight and action. As a Business Analytics Advisor, you will help build trend prediction capabilities across clinical and affordability metrics within the CHC Risk Ecosystem. You will connect claims, authorization, service category, diagnosis, and episode-of-care data to help clinical, analytics, finance, and affordability partners understand risk drivers and improve decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Design and build clinical risk indicators, projection insights, and key performance indicators within the CHC Risk Ecosystem.
  • Partner with clinical, finance, analytics, affordability, technical, and visualization teams to create practical analytic capabilities that improve trend analysis and claims insights.
  • Translate relationships across authorizations, claims, diagnostic categories, service categories, and episodes of care into clear clinical and financial insights.
  • Lead end-to-end development of clinical insights and affordability opportunities, with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable value.
  • Use internal and external data to connect clinical performance, marketplace trends, and cost-of-care drivers.
  • Build trusted partnerships across matrixed teams and present complex findings in a clear, actionable way for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in health plan or health system data analytics, affordability analytics, clinical analysis, or a related healthcare analytics function.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data, including claims, provider data, clinical information, diagnosis codes, authorizations, cost, quality, and health plan performance measures.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience using database management systems to analyze large datasets.
  • Ability to translate clinical findings into financial impact estimates and clear recommendations for non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, storytelling, collaboration, and business partnership skills in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, healthcare, business, finance, informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve analytics, code development, documentation, or insight generation (e.g. Claude Code).
  • Familiarity with clinical coding concepts, clinical operations, affordability programs, or predictive analytics methods.
  • Familiarity querying and using EPIC platform data.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 98,200 - 163,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
