Job description

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for performing a variety of yard work and equipment delivery related duties while maintaining a high level of consideration for safety and operational compliance. This is a fast paced environment, and strong attention to detail is required. Previous experience as a general laborer, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the delivery and unloading of our equipment at customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
  • Follow TSC policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly and safely.
  • Assist with the coordination of delivery schedules using the most time efficient routes.
  • May be assigned to jobs that require working after regular hours.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
  • Provide a high level of customer service while on all job sites.
  • Occasional local travel during the workday.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
    • Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
    • Crane certification preferred, however if candidate is not certified at the time of employment, company will train for crane certified operations.
  • Capable of reading, understanding and following company procedures.
  • Other skills required:
  • Forklift operation and welding experience is desirable.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems.
