In this full-time role, you will leverage your clinical skills to provide virtual therapy services to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your role will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental wellness journeys through our secure telehealth platform, utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Work Environment

In this remote work setting, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any suitable location. Our telehealth platform ensures a secure and user-friendly experience for both therapists and clients. Your working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting virtual therapy sessions with individuals and groups, providing a safe space for therapy and facilitating discussions that promote healing and growth.
  • Completing comprehensive intake assessments to understand client histories and contemporary challenges, and guiding individualized treatment planning based on these insights.
  • Documenting client progress meticulously through our online systems to ensure all information is current and accurately reflects the therapeutic process and clinical needs.
  • Responding effectively to clientsโ€™ evolving clinical needs through timely adjustments to therapy approaches and goals.
  • Referring clients to additional services and community resources as needed, fostering a holistic approach to their mental health and well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients span a broad demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults who face a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. You will have the opportunity to work with culturally diverse populations, respecting and incorporating their backgrounds and experiences into the therapeutic process. This role is crucial for empowering clients to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
  • An active and unrestricted mental health license in Washington State (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC).
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and online documentation tools, enabling seamless and confidential communication with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a virtual setting, showcasing time management and self-motivation skills.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling role is required, candidates with specific experience in telehealth services and evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be favored. Additionally, experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with community resources will enhance your candidacy.
