KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute pruning and tree work on client properties across the Springfield area, including tree pruning and removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding
  • Take initiative and ownership of daily routes, equipment, and quality of work
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently with efficiency
  • Operate small-engine equipment safely and proficiently, including chainsaws, shears, and string trimmers
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding service expectations, processes, and timelines
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while working aloft and on the ground

Requirements

A background in forestry or a related field is a plus. That said, if you bring a genuine willingness to learn-both on the job and independently, our structured training program will equip you with the skills to succeed. All candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Production Arborist or in comparable tree care/climbing role
  • Strong physical capability, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk 3+ miles per day
  • Comfort and respect for working at heights; ability to climb and work aloft
  • Ability to push and pull objects over extended distances
  • Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions
  • A self-starter mindset and commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain DOT certification and pass a background check and drug screening
  • Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Springfield area
