  • Become familiar with and know your work itinerary well and maintain that itinerary with a high degree of responsibility.
  • Work in a friendly and cooperative manner with other employees.
  • Maintain a professional wardrobe and take care of your personal hygiene.
  • Keep the work area clean, clear and in order.
  • Execute their work in accordance with normal operating procedures.
  • Read, understand, and follow all rules, procedures, and conditions as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Implement the management company and hotel safety and policy and procedures, e.g., evacuation, first aid, etc., that include removing any objects that are dangerous, following the OSHA Hazcom program and techniques for lifting heavy objects carefully and safely.

  • Immediately report any accidents, injuries, damage, or property loss to your supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate and fluid communication between hotel departments.

  • Clean the parking lots and surroundings of the Hotel daily.
  • Manage the irrigation system.
  • Water by hand all areas that are not watered by the irrigation system.
  • Fertilize, water and maintain all indoor plants.
  • Quickly and efficiently remove all snow and ice from sidewalks and parking areas to provide good walking areas for guests and employees.
  • Paint and maintain exterior lamps and installations, curbs and finishes.
  • Fertilize and treat all flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Fertilize and treat and ventilate the lawn and the entire grass area.
  • Repair and maintain all electrical equipment related to maintenance work in a safe and effective manner.
  • Help with the decorations of the different seasons of the year.

Marginal Functions:

  • Assist other members of the Engineering Department as needed


Job Knowledge, Skills, and Other Requirements:


  • Be able to communicate verbally and in writing accurately and efficiently with guests and employees so that they can accurately and completely respond to individuals to give directions, instructions, information, and respond to questions and provide services as needed.
