Tree Care Services Business Developer

Location: Tucson, AZย Regional Territory

Job Type:ย Full-Time | $65,000 - $80,000 Base + Commission | Company Vehicle

Aย leading national services organizationย is seeking a driven and consultativeย Tree Care Services Business Developerย to grow and manage commercial tree care services across a defined regional territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with deep tree care or green industry experience who thrives in a relationship-driven, performance-focused environment.

What Youโ€™ll Do

The Tree Care Services Business Developer manages the full sales cycleโ€”from prospecting through closeโ€”while partnering closely with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal teams to deliver customized solutions and achieve revenue targets.

Youโ€™ll be responsible for:

  • Selling and estimating commercial tree care services within an assigned territory
  • Proactively prospecting new business using consultative B2B sales techniques
  • Developing tree care programs and estimates for both new and existing clients
  • Conducting heavy phone prospecting, in-person meetings, presentations, and virtual demos
  • Negotiating contracts with minimal supervision
  • Networking to expand market penetration and grow targeted accounts
  • Consistently achieving sales goals and activity benchmarks
  • Logging sales activity accurately in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Collaborating internally to pursue larger, complex opportunities
  • Building trust-based relationships with key decision-makers
  • Operating with urgency in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

What Weโ€™re Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you have:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Tree Care Industry certifications (TCIA and/or ISA Certified Arborist preferred)
  • Commercial B2B sales experience within the service or green industry
  • Extensive face-to-face selling experience with mid-to-senior level decision-makers
  • Proven success in longer sales cycle environments
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities across a large territory
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using CRM or sales force automation tools
  • A self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
  • Local market knowledge and existing industry relationships (preferred)
