Job description

Located just minutes from downtown Portland, Amaterra is perched high in the tree-filled slopes of the city’s West Hills. Amaterra is built on a foundation of food and beverage excellence. Executive Chef Jami Flatt and the Culinary Team, partner with Farmers, Vendors, and Ranchers to create dishes and experiences that celebrate the bounty of the Pacific Northwest.

**Seasonal Position August - October.

Set schedule Thursday, Friday, Saturday 12p-830p

Wages range between $20-23.00 per hour + tips (DOE)

  • *Minimum 1 year experience in gourmet, scratch-casual fine dining, Event, Catering and Banquet kitchens*

  • Ability to effectively communicate in a busy environment.

  • Ability to to do basic math to scale recipes up/down.

  • Ability to read recipes, follow directions and take proper notes.

  • Ability to work as a team to efficiently and effectively prep/execute the daily goals.

  • Ability to show up to work on time with a positive and proactive mindset.
