The Foreman, Enhancement is responsible for leading and coordinating landscape enhancement projects for Sunrise Landscape's commercial clients. This is a working leader role, responsible for organizing job sites, assigning tasks, and working alongside crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
The Foreman supports daily project execution by maintaining quality, troubleshooting issues, managing equipment, and ensuring a safe and secure work environment. A successful Foreman brings strong field experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
As one of our Foremen, Enhancement, you will have the following areas of responsibility:
Project Coordination & Crew Leadership
  • Coordinate job sites, schedule work, and assign tasks to crew members
  • Supervise daily project execution to ensure work is completed on time and meets client expectations
  • Train crew members on landscaping techniques and safety procedures
  • Oversee crew performance to ensure work is completed according to project specifications and company standards

Enhancement Installation & Field Execution
  • Perform hands-on landscape enhancement work including planting, mowing, pruning, weeding, and other landscaping tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to grounds maintenance and enhancement projects
  • Maintain high-quality landscaping projects and ensure all work meets company standards

Equipment & Safety Management
  • Ensure the proper tools, materials, and equipment are available for each project
  • Direct crew members in the safe and efficient use of landscape enhancement tools, equipment, and materials
  • Safely operate heavy equipment related to enhancement projects including skid steers, sod cutters, tree lifts, and other hand and power tools
  • Follow all company safety and security protocols to maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain equipment and report repair or maintenance needs promptly

Budget & Operational Support
  • Organize and track project budget data
  • Support operational efficiency by ensuring resources are used effectively and project needs are met

Qualifications & Core Competencies
  • Minimum of three to five years of landscape maintenance experience, with at least one to two years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of landscaping and irrigation systems
  • Knowledge of common landscape problems and deficiencies
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, skid steers, and tree lifts
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
  • Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and provide excellent client service
  • Experience with Aspire software preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Driver Qualifications
To qualify as a Driver, in addition to the above, you must:
  • Possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States for a minimum of three years
  • Maintain a clean driving record for at least three years
  • Successfully pass a drug screening
