Responsibilities
  • Climb trees to perform pruning, removals, and other tree care services using industry-standard techniques.
  • Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assess tree health and stability, identifying potential hazards and recommending solutions.
  • Apply proper pruning methods to enhance tree health and aesthetics.
  • Safely remove hazardous branches and trees while minimizing risk to people and property.
  • Collaborate with the ground crew to ensure safe and effective debris removal.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site in accordance with company policies.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, offering expert advice on tree care.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to serve as a crew leader when needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience in tree climbing, pruning, and removals.
  • Knowledge of tree species, health assessments, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining tree care tools and equipment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • ISA Certification (preferred but not required).
  • Background check and drug screening required.
