Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and skid steers to support tree care operations
- Assist tree climbers by managing ropes, providing tools, and handling debris
- Safely control lowering ropes and guide branches to the ground
- Transport and process tree limbs and logs using chippers and trailers
- Manage pedestrian and road traffic to maintain a safe work environment
- Follow company safety standards and ANSI tree care guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications
- Experience in tree care or landscaping is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of arborist knots and rigging techniques, or willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
