Grow With US! Joshua Tree Experts, The Lehigh Valley's premiere team of tree care, lawn care, and pest control professionals is searching for an experienced Tree Care Groundsperson.
The Groundsperson works alongside a 2 to 4-person tree crew assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, stump grinding and wood chipper operations. He/she is responsible for all communication with crew members and the public while climbers are aloft in trees or aerial lift trucks.

What a Tree Care Groundsperson does:
  • Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily
  • Ensure that drop zones are safe for coworkers and public
  • Perform pruning and reducing
  • Safely use tree care operations equipment included but not limited to gas powered saws, pole saws/clips, and chippers
  • Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush and debris
  • Reports to work on time each day
  • Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers
  • Maintain professional image
  • Provide friendly and excellent customer service
  • Maintain and service equipment, as needed
  • Follows safety culture and safety procedures
  • Set up safety and traffic control measures for job sites

What do you need to be a Tree Care Groundsperson:
  • Minimum of two year experience in Tree Care Operations
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work 40 hours or more each week
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively
  • First Aid and CPR Certified is preferred
