Treasury Accountant
Location: Greenwich, CT - 100% in-office
Compensation: $85,000-95,000

Position Summary

Reporting to the CFO, the Treasury Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's global cash activities across multiple international entities. This role will oversee daily cash management, bank reconciliations, treasury reporting, cash forecasting, and support financing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong treasury and accounting experience within a multi-entity environment, be highly analytical, and possess hands-on experience with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily cash positions and monitor bank balances across multiple domestic and international entities.
  • Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity across the organization.
  • Process and oversee weekly domestic and international bank payments.
  • Perform and review bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash transactions.
  • Reconcile cash inflows, outflows, and intercompany transactions across multiple entities.
  • Prepare treasury reports, cash dashboards, and liquidity analyses for executive leadership.
  • Support administration of banking relationships, including account openings, closings, user access management, and banking documentation.
  • Assist with debt compliance reporting, covenant monitoring, and borrowing facility administration.
  • Support corporate financing initiatives, capital raises, and other treasury-related projects.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate recording of cash and treasury activities.
  • Identify process improvements and develop enhanced reporting and forecasting models to improve visibility into global cash positions.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to cash, debt, and treasury accounts.
  • Support audits by preparing treasury-related schedules and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of treasury accounting, cash management, or treasury operations experience.
  • Experience working in an international, multi-entity organization.
  • Hands-on experience with Xero ERP/accounting software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, treasury reporting, and intercompany accounting.
  • Experience managing multiple bank relationships and banking platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and cash forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing global organization.
