Job Description

The Treasury Services Sales position is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of Treasury Services relationships. This role partners closely with commercial bankers to deepen client relationships by expanding treasury and deposit services through joint sales calls, business development, and consultative solution selling.

This position meets with clients and prospects to assess their cash management needs, recommends tailored Treasury Services solutions, and prepares proposals that align with each client's business objectives. Regular travel throughout the Bank's service area is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and grow commercial banking relationships with a primary focus on Treasury Services and core deposit growth.
  • Partner with commercial lenders and retail teams to identify opportunities, expand existing relationships, and deliver Treasury Services solutions to new and existing commercial clients.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with bankers and independently prospect new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other business development activities.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Analyze clients' business operations, cash flow needs, and industry trends to recommend appropriate Treasury Services products and solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of Treasury Services clients, identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Serve as the primary contact for commercial deposit and Treasury Services clients, providing ongoing support, product guidance, and issue resolution.
  • Complete all required documentation for new and existing Treasury Services relationships, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Coordinate with Treasury Services Support to implement new services, modify existing products, and resolve documentation exceptions.
  • Ensure successful onboarding of new Treasury Services clients and conduct post-implementation follow-up to confirm customer satisfaction and product effectiveness.
  • Deliver Treasury Services product education and training to clients and internal team members as assigned.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Treasury Services products, industry trends, banking regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve sales goals and support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, prospects, and internal partners by serving as a knowledgeable advisor and consultant.
  • Represent the Bank at networking events, client meetings, lunches, dinners, and community functions, including occasional evening events as needed.
  • Travel regularly throughout the Bank's market area to support clients, prospects, and internal partners.
Qualifications
  • Education: Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree.
  • Experience: 2 years related experience and/or training.
