We're looking for a Senior Treasury Accountant who thrives at the intersection of cash management, financial strategy, and operational excellence. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as the primary steward of cash flow and liquidity across our multi-property portfolio. Job Summary

The Senior Treasury Accountant's primary responsibility is cash management and liquidity oversight across a multi-property hotel portfolio operating under multiple franchise flags (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Choice): producing consolidated and property-level cash flow statements and forecasts, planning and tracking large/non-routine payments, executing and monitoring inter-entity cash transfers, and tracking owner contributions and distributions. Beyond this core treasury function, the role will take on additional accounting responsibilities as capacity allows, in support of the broader Property Support Office team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Cash Flow Reporting & Forecasting
  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts at the property and consolidated portfolio level and reconcile against actual bank activity.
  • Support month-end close by preparing the statement of cash flows for property-level USALI reporting and consolidated GAAP reporting, and flag properties approaching minimum cash or covenant thresholds.
Large Payment Planning & Tracking
  • Maintain a centralized tracker of large/non-routine payments (debt service, insurance, property tax, PIP/capex draws, franchise fees) and coordinate timing against cash availability.
  • Validate payment amounts and approvals with AP, development and operations; track payment status end-to-end and maintain an audit trail.
Cash Transfers & Intercompany Movement
  • Execute and monitor cash transfers between property operating, sweep, reserve, and corporate accounts; maintain intercompany funding schedules for consolidation.
Owner Contribution & Distribution Monitoring
  • Track owner contributions and distributions by property/entity, prepare distribution recommendations based on available free cash flow, and reconcile against GL equity accounts monthly.
Additional Support
  • Assist the broader accounting team with property-level accounting, reconciliations, and other close-cycle tasks outside core treasury duties.

  • Hotel industry experience with USALI-based property reporting; familiarity with franchise financial reporting requirements, preferred. Sales tax experience - filing, reconciliation, or multi-jurisdiction compliance, preferred.
  • Property-level accounting experience (AP/AR, GL, reconciliations) to support the team beyond core treasury duties, preferred.
