Job Purpose:

Actively participate in and foster the ACB Culture of excellence while supporting the Bank’s strategic initiatives.

The purpose of the Treasury Management Officer is to provide support for the sales, operations and management functions of treasury management. This position is responsible for coordinating with Commercial Banking, Retail Banking and the Government Banking teams to ensure treasury management product set-up, training, and compliance are complete, maintained and processing is performed in a timely, efficient, and accurate method.   

Consistently and effectively manage behavior within ACB’s established customer service standards and core values while adhering to all established bank policy and procedures.

Critical Drivers:

  • Work closely with Commercial Banking, Retail Banking & Government Banking teams to ensure strong operational adherence and support to our treasury management customers.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Treasury Management regulations, products/services, risk management, and serves as a primary contact ensuring excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Manage the strategic focus of enhancing and growing our treasury management portfolio.

Duties and Precise Tasks:

  1. Commit to and live by a no excuses environment whereby all employees are held 100% accountable for behaviors, actions, performance & attitudes. 
  2. Adhere to all ACB policies and procedures and have a strong working knowledge of      treasury management products and procedures.
  3. Provide excellent customer service, primarily by phone and email. Utilize critical thinking and active listening to resolve customer problems or complaints.
  4. Complete treasury management account set-up. Complete onboarding for new accounts.  Review account applications, agreements, and other documentation for complete and accurate information. Send and track documents for approval. Save and file all completed documents into iDentifi.
  5. Complete system set up and maintenance on items for existing and new treasury management products and services. Complete termination of treasury services, as requested.
  6. Apply & track fees to applicable commercial accounts utilizing treasury management services.
  7. Monitors industry and competitive trends and developments for treasury management products, services, and fees. Assist all   business lines with Remote Deposit Capture scanner set up and coordinate installation with provider company.  Assist with   troubleshooting scanner issues that arise.

    Human Relations/Emotional/Mental Demands:

Contact with existing /potential customers and employees through telephones, correspondence or personally interact with in all areas. Confidentiality of potential and existing client and employee information requires professionalism, discretion and diplomacy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must possess the ability to read, write and speak fluently in the English language, organization, and customer service skills with both internal and external customers.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Associate degree or higher in business, finance, or related area

Treasury Management experience preferred

Customer service experience
