About the Internship:
Mastronardi offers a structured, 10-week internship program that runs three times per year, during the Spring, Summer and Fall. This internship provides students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn from industry professionals.
Available Departments:
We have previously held interns in the following areas: Finance, Food Safety, Growing, HR, IT, Learning and Development, Legal, Marketing, Procurement, Purchasing, Sales, Security, Supply Chain, Talent Acquisition and Treasury.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Take ownership and assist with assigned tasks and projects
- Support team members with various initiatives
- Attend meetings, contribute ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional groups
- Participate in learning sessions, team-building activities, and mentor opportunities
- Perform other duties as needed
Education/Background Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Regularly exhibits integrity, a strong work ethic, and high degree of self-motivation
- Has keen attention to detail as well as the ability and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interest in the produce industry
