Job description

Spokane is a city immersed in natural beauty that offers big city-worthy attractions while still maintaining a charming and unique smaller city personality. And at the center of the community is River Park Square, a Cowles Real Estate property, and downtown Spokane’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination.

Position Title: Retail Concierge

Status: Part-time

Salary: $17.50-$19/hr.

Hours: Days and times vary, though 9:30-6 is a typical shift.

About this role:

The Retail Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for Guests who are seeking information, gift ideas, dining, event, and promotion details, and supports our River Park Square gift card program. Our team is passionate about ensuring guests have a memorable experience and we’re looking for the perfect candidate to help us maintain our brand standards, as well as evolve and elevate the guest experience.

What you'll do:

  • Professionally answer and transfer phone calls
  • Sell Gift Certificates and handle reissues and prepare online orders
  • Assist customers amp; merchants with questions and directions
  • Stroller amp; wheelchair checkout, make sure to keep disinfected amp; clean
  • Radio proper units when issues are reported
  • Receive, sort, and distribute RPS office, 809 tenants amp; garage mail, and deliveries
  • Make copies amp; send faxes to merchants amp; customers
  • Handle cash, CC, and business check transactions
  • Know emergency amp; alarm procedures
  • Keep a daily activity log including funds verification
  • Keep GC data on corporate and Shop amp; Stay purchases
  • Issue press passes to media
  • Update RPS Website with current job opportunities as well as at the desk
  • Contact Merchants for meetings amp; event information
  • Update Merchant information
  • Send customer concerns amp; suggestions to Marketing Director
  • Keep a customer database for Insiders Club
  • Keep data on customer requests and foreign visitors
  • Keep track of lost amp; found items-make contact customers when info is available

  • Make sure to have a variety of catalogs and brochures to display
  • Log merchant late openings amp; contact the store manager
  • Log merchant early closures amp; make RPS management aware
  • Ensure the community board is kept updated amp; free of inappropriate material
  • Nightly reissue report to HR Treasurer
  • Process ICVERIFY report
  • Complete deposit slips when needed
  • Daily Gift Certificate receipts, deposits, and reissues sent to the HR Treasurer
  • Assist with Marketing events amp; projects when needed
  • Follow Opening/Closing procedures
  • Copy/Fax Report to the HR Treasurer
  • Other duties as assigned
