Responsibilities

The Treasury Analyst role offers exposure and interaction with various aspects of the Company's Treasury Operations and works closely with Accounting, Tax, Legal and other Treasury areas.  The role requires engagement, project management, controls adherence and strong communication skills.  The role provides deep exposure to US and OUS cash management processes as well as global tax and accounting practices.  The ideal candidate has powerful data analytics capability, a strong growth mindset, and the desire to collaborate internally and externally to drive value and operational excellence for Eastman. Through reporting and analytics, this analyst would be in a unique position to have a broad understanding of Treasury from a foundational level and has the opportunity to either specialize as he/she grows within the department or be able to take those skills to another department as a strong Treasury ambassador.

   Corporate International Treasury analyst ensuring alignment between Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Legal for company initiatives
     o    Drive internal International Finance and Capital Structure team to optimal financial outcomes with engagement and alignment of key functional participants.
     o    Lead Tax, Treasury, Accounting working team to fully analyze options and recommend solutions for various corporate financial initiatives as well as optimize ongoing activity
     o    Ensure adherence to policies and procedures as well as communication with key stakeholders
   Manage Inter-company Loan portfolio leveraging SAP TRM, Treasury and Risk Management module, SAP IHC and In-House Cash module 
   Support special projects and Mergers and Acquisitions activity
   Manage Global InterCompany Dividends
   Liaise with Global Cash teams on optimal structures and key cash movements

Qualifications

   Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance or other Business related degree required
   2+ years of experience required.  Experience in financial analysis, corporate banking, treasury, accounting, or business-related experience highly preferred
