New Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.
We are seeking a caring and compassionate Interim RN Program Manager who demonstrates effective work planning skills maintains a positive attitude, holds an RN license and demonstrates professionalism. As a program manager, you will facilitate support to the team and provide direct clinical services to Detox Clients . You will also provide leadership, guidance, clinical, and administrative supervision of assigned staff.

As a Program Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Provides operational direction, leadership and clinical supervision
  • Applies sound personnel practices in interviewing and orientation of staff
  • Supervises staff members in a fair and consistent manner
  • Demonstrates good leadership by developing standards of performance
  • Consistently motivates staff members in a positive manner
  • Interacts with staff to ensure quality of on-going therapeutic interventions
  • Holds periodic staff meetings to address new procedures, policies, trainings
  • Conducts Employee Performance Evaluations
  • Oversees overall activities for the operations of the programs supervised
  • Ensures cases are appropriately assigned, services rendered, and medical records maintained
  • Ensures that the programs meet the needs of the clients, utilizes the abilities of staff and that clients are assigned to needed services

Requirements
  • RN license and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Experience working with mentally ill/emotionally disturbed/chemically dependent populations.
  • Healthcare management experience.
