What is Hydrafacial training?

Hydrafacial training is a specialized educational program designed to teach skincare professionals how to safely and effectively perform Hydrafacial treatments. These trainings cover the use of the Hydrafacial device, proper techniques, client assessment, and post-treatment care. Participants learn about the different treatment serums, skin types, and ways to customize the procedure for individual client needs. Completing Hydrafacial training is often required for practitioners to offer the service in a professional setting.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Hydrafacial trainer?

To thrive as a Hydrafacial Trainer, you need a background in esthetics or cosmetology, in-depth knowledge of skin care, and relevant certifications such as a state-issued esthetician license. Familiarity with Hydrafacial machines, skin analysis tools, and learning management systems is typically required. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills help trainers effectively teach and motivate both new and experienced practitioners. These skills ensure trainees receive high-quality, consistent education, leading to safe and effective Hydrafacial treatments for clients.

You may also work closely with product development and marketing teams to stay updated on new features and best practices, allowing you to deliver the most current and effective training. Job Description: WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

A Hydrafacial device generates revenue only when it is used — and consistent, high-quality provider training is what drives utilization. The Regional Training Specialist is the clinical educator responsible for ensuring that every new provider in the territory is onboarded effectively, every existing provider is growing their treatment menu, and every Hydrafacial experience delivered to a patient meets the clinical standard that defines the brand.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Conduct new device installations and hands-on clinical training for new Hydrafacial providers across the assigned region, ensuring each practice achieves clinical proficiency and treatment confidence from day one.
  • Deliver refresher and advanced training programs for existing providers, expanding treatment menu knowledge and driving adoption of new boosters and protocols.
  • Support and co-deliver in-person training programs in partnership with the Training & Education team, field sales, corporate accounts, and the HFX franchise.
  • Perform Hydrafacial treatments to support corporate, training, marketing, and regional initiatives.
  • Maintain efficient territory routing to ensure consistent and timely coverage across all provider accounts.
  • Document all training activities, customer interactions, and field trends within the CRM system to maintain accurate account records.
  • Collaborate daily with the regional team — Regional Sales Director, Capital Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and Inside Business Development Managers — to align on account priorities, training needs, and customer expectations.
  • Attend and support industry trade shows and regional events as needed.
  • Leverage marketing tools and resources to increase engagement with SkinHealth Systems devices, product line, and brand.
  • Compile and communicate field data and training outcomes to the Regional Sales Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORRequired
  • High school diploma or GED; college degree or active esthetician license required.
  • Minimum 3 years of esthetics, clinical training, or related hands-on experience.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Prior experience in a field-based role with extensive territory travel.
  • Ability to travel 75% or more by vehicle and plane.
  • Deep knowledge of skincare ingredients, skin concerns, and treatment protocols.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate training plans clearly, and adapt to fast-changing field conditions.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high sense of urgency and excellent follow-through.
  • Comfort delivering hands-on clinical training to healthcare and esthetics professionals.
Preferred
  • Active esthetician license strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on clinical training experience in a medical aesthetics or device context.
  • Sales experience or experience supporting a commercial sales team.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
  • Primarily field-based role requiring extensive daily driving with frequent air travel required.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of up to 8 hours while conducting treatment demonstrations and training sessions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry training materials, product samples, and device accessories weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repeated Hydrafacial treatments in a clinical setting, requiring manual dexterity and physical endurance.
  • Occasional setup and breakdown of display or demonstration equipment at trade shows and events.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting while driving or traveling between training locations.

We mean it when we say you’ll LOVE this role.
