Job description

Company: Replay Surfacing
Location: Based in Charlotte, NC (Regular regional & national travel required)
Replay Surfacing is a fast-growing specialty construction company. We install high-end rubber safety surfacing systems for playgrounds, sports facilities, commercial spaces, and recreational projects across the United States.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, high-accountability Crew Lead to manage our traveling installation teams. This is a working leadership position. We are looking for a true leader who can build long-term crew cohesion, not just supervise tasks.
Ideal backgrounds include:
  • Crew leadership/foreman experience in concrete, roofing, asphalt, epoxy/industrial coatings, or Rubber Surfacing
  • Supervisory roles in utility, oilfield, or heavy hardscaping
Key Responsibilities
  • Crew Leadership: Direct, motivate, and manage a 3-to-5-person installation crew during high-intensity, fast-paced field projects.
  • On-Site Supervision: Lead hands-on installation tasks (mixing, spreading, grading) while enforcing strict quality standards and safety procedures.
  • On- Site Installation: Work on installing PIP with other installers as well as leading them
  • Travel Management: Coordinate and oversee crew logistics, including travel schedules, company vehicles, and professional conduct at company-paid lodging
  • Project Execution: Interpret project plans, manage inventory/materials on-site, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within quality specifications.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary field liaison between the crew, project managers, and clients on-site. Maintain daily reporting and attendance logs.
Required Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience leading field crews in physically demanding construction environments.
  • Mobility: Full ability and willingness to travel consistently throughout the Southeast and beyond.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proven experience in a related trade (coatings, concrete finishing, paving, etc.) with a strong eye for detail and material handling.
  • Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required (to operate company crew vehicles).
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle heavy physical labor alongside the crew.
What We Offer
  • Highly Competitive Base Pay: Commensurate with leadership experience.
  • Overtime: Frequent opportunities during active project seasons.
  • Comprehensive Travel Benefits: Company-paid hotels and a daily per diem during overnight travel.
  • Housing: Employee housing options available.
  • Career Growth: Direct path into advanced regional management as our company continues to scale.
