Job description

Immediate need for a talented Sterile Processing Tech. This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $12/hr - $13/hour.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Hourly Pay Rate: $13/hr. on W2
  • Weekly Gross - $1,035.06 (Based on completion of 40 hours a week)
  • Per-Diem – Inclusive of Meals, Incidentals & Lodging
  • $515.06 / week
  • Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday – Friday
  • Day shift schedule with weekends off.
  • Travel candidates preferred due to local radius restrictions.
  • Opportunity to work with a highly collaborative healthcare team in a professional clinical setting.
  • Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Ensure all instrumentation is processed according to hospital policies and industry standards.
  • Operate sterilization equipment including steam sterilizers, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of sterile supplies and instruments.
  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly before sterilization.
  • Support operating room and procedural departments by ensuring timely instrument availability.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance protocols at all times.


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Sterile Processing / Instrument Technician.
  • Strong understanding of sterilization methods, infection control, and surgical instrumentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
  • CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician)
  • CASSPT Certification
