Job Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join our team for a travel position. The ideal candidate should have experience in a variety of procedures, including but not limited to Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, vein sampling, phase 2 recovery, and cryoablations. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, although a minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
Shift Details
  • Schedule: 4x10 Hour Days (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
  • Call Requirements: 2 full weekends in a 6-week period and 9 weeknight shifts
  • Location: Seattle, WA
  • Floating: Required to cover shifts and call at the First Hill location
Requirements
  • Licenses & Certifications:
    • BLS Certification
    • ARRT Radiography Certification
    • Washington State License
  • Experience:
    • 1 year of experience preferred in Interventional Radiology
    • Experience with a variety of medical procedures as listed in unit information
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in 3D imaging and accessing/managing ports
  • Experienced with various angiographic procedures, including Aortography and Carotid Stenting
  • Capable of performing biopsies, paracentesis, and other specialized interventional procedures
  • Familiarity with medication systems such as Pyxis and documentation systems like EPIC
  • Ability to maintain sterile technique and operate in a hybrid OR setting
Patient Care Details
  • Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
  • Daily Patient Census: Varied
