About the Position

The General Manager will have full operational and financial ownership of the Milwaukee branch. This leader will be responsible for managing the P&L, driving revenue and EBITDA growth, developing new business, overseeing day-to-day operations, and building a high-performing team.

The branch has an established foundation, and the objective is to bring in a proven leader who can take ownership, identify opportunities, and accelerate growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the branch P&L, revenue, EBITDA, and overall financial performance.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and market share.
  • Lead business development and strengthen relationships with commercial clients, property owners, insurance partners, and referral sources.
  • Oversee daily restoration and reconstruction operations.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Establish accountability for production, customer service, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Monitor key financial and operational metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations.
  • Build upon the existing operation while identifying new markets and revenue opportunities.
  • Serve as the senior leader and primary representative of the branch.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in disaster restoration or a closely related industry.
  • Progressive leadership experience with increasing operational responsibility.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and financial management experience.
  • Proven track record of growing a restoration operation, branch, or similar service business.
  • Strong business development and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and leading teams.
  • Strong understanding of restoration operations, project management, and customer service.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and make sound business decisions.
  • Strong financial, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
