Hit the Road with Purpose: Join Us as a Seasonal Travel Merchandising Representative!
ActionLink is hiring a Travel Merchandising Representative for a seasonal project focused on enhancing product visibility and sales in retail environments. This role involves traveling nationwide to set up and optimize tech-integrated displays, implement merchandising strategies, and ensure products are retail-ready. You'll be the face of our clients' brands-driving impact where it matters most: in-store.
What you will do:
  • Starting in July and running through December 31st, travel to assigned retail locations to set up and maintain product displays per brand standards
  • Work with store management to execute merchandising strategies and optimize product placement
  • Troubleshoot display issues and perform product audits as needed
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners to support merchandising initiatives
  • Complete visit reports the same day and schedule work within 48 hours of dashboard posting
  • Ensure product placement and resets follow plan-o-grams and call reports
  • Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing
  • Set up electronics, connect power/data, and install security devices
  • Build endcaps using tools and replace signage/POP materials
  • Upload/download required digital photos for all projects

Your Merchandising Skill Set
Skills and Experience
  • Currently employed with ActionLink for at least 90 days as a part-time or full-time merchandising rep.
  • Background in merchandising, sales, or retail-preferably in consumer electronics
  • Strong technical aptitude for setting up electronics and using retail systems
  • Effective communicator with retail staff, managers, and clients
  • Independent, adaptable, and capable of managing a travel-heavy schedule
  • Leadership experience with task delegation when applicable
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail
Travel & Logistics
  • Able to travel nationally by air for 2-3 weeks at a time (Real ID or Passport required)
  • Must live within one hour of a major airport
  • Willing to stay overnight regularly and rent vehicles legally
  • Possess a credit card for travel incidentals
Tools & Equipment
  • Proficient with handheld tools and power tools. Must own a power drill
  • Willing to certify on powered retail equipment (e.g., Big Joe, scissor lifts)
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Ability to access all areas of retail stores, including climbing ladders and using lift equipment (OSHA compliant)
  • Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs overhead for extended periods
  • Strong visual acuity for product placement and inspection
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel extensively by car and plane
  • Available for early morning and occasional overnight shifts
