Job description

Travel LPNs assigned to Indiana earn up to $2,165/week including non-taxed weekly stipend


Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Indiana Department of Corrections.   We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN.  Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.


The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Indiana, per contract needs.  Each assignment will be restricted to one location.  The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
•    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
•    Compact licensure preferred
•    Minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience 
•    Must have open availability to travel throughout the state as needed per contract needs 
•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) 
•    Corrections experience preferred 
•    Previous travel nurse experience preferred
•    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
