Job description

Job Title: Flooring Installer – Residential Remodeling


Job Description:

Elite Drywall and Taping Inc. is seeking an experienced Flooring Installer to join our residential remodeling team. We specialize in high-quality home renovations, interior improvements, and remodeling projects throughout the Bay Area.

We are looking for a skilled Flooring Installer with experience installing residential flooring systems. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, takes pride in craftsmanship, and can complete projects with clean, professional results.


Responsibilities:

  • Install residential flooring including luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, hardwood, engineered wood, and other flooring materials
  • Prepare floors for installation including removal of existing materials, surface preparation, leveling, and underlayment installation
  • Measure, cut, and install flooring materials accurately according to project specifications
  • Install transitions, baseboards, trim, and finish details as needed
  • Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, fit, and quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Protect surrounding finishes during installation
  • Coordinate with project managers and other trades to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of residential flooring installation experience preferred
  • Experience installing LVP, laminate, hardwood, and engineered flooring
  • Knowledge of flooring preparation, moisture considerations, and installation methods
  • Ability to perform accurate measurements and detailed cuts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects efficiently
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different job sites
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
