The Construction Project Engineer is responsible for document controls, will perform field inspections for various construction activities at the project site to verify that construction work is compliant with plans and specifications, and with minimal oversight will manage specific subcontract agreements, participating in both OAC and Subcontractor meetings. Various duties may be assigned to the Project Engineer II that pertain to administrative tasks to ensure a well-rounded understanding of the company's construction processes. This position will prepare the incumbent for advancement into various construction supervisory positions or for work in other departments within the company. The incumbent must be capable of supporting small-to-medium-scale projects up to $50 million in contract value.
Requirements
  • Normally requires a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 3 to 5+ years of Project Engineer experience or related construction field experience.
  • Must be able to travel to and work at the project site, this travel may be up to 100%.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle for travel to project sites and client meetings
